Vanessa Greenway grew up in Eugene, Oregon and moved to Chicago to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University, where she received her BFA in Acting. A two-time Joseph Jefferson Award winner, Vanessa's recent theatre credits include Griffin Theatre's SPRING AWAKENING, Vitalist Theatre's LIFE IS A DREAM (2012 Non-Equity Jeff Award nominee for Best Supporting Actress) Vitalist Theatre's Chicago premiere of THE NIGHT SEASON (2010 Non-Equity Jeff Award for Best Supporting Actress), JACKIE AND ME with Chicago Children's Theatre, Jenny in The Hypocrite’s production of THE THREEPENNY OPERA, Olivia in City Lit Theatre’s TWELFTH NIGHT, Constance in Griffin Theatre’s THE CONSTANT WIFE (2008 Non-Equity Jeff Award for Best Principal Actress-Play) and the Witch Queen in the Griffin’s adaptation of Neil Gaimen’s STARDUST. Other Chicago credits include work with Porchlight Music Theatre (INTO THE WOODS, NINE, PROMISES, PROMISES and MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG), Eclipse Theatre (TALLEY & SON) Live Bait (DEATH ON A PINK CARPET and PARAMOUNT GIRL), Noble Fool (VIKINGS!
